Beaufort Downs is owned and operated by husband and wife team Olly and Annabel Tuthill.

Beaufort Downs is a boutique thoroughbred agistment/breeding farm, set on 100 acres of beautiful rolling North Canterbury grass land.

 

Olly and Annabel also work closely with Inglewood Stud, as well an many other studs, trainers and breeders.

​

The stud is 5 minutes from specialist horse vets, the Rangiora Vet Centre, with an equine vet on call at all times.

​

Racing and breeding is in the blood. Their family has been involved in breeding Thoroughbreds for many generations.

​

Both Olly and Annabel have many years of experience with horses, representing their countries internationally at their chosen sports. Olly has represented England in Polo and Annabel competed for New Zealand at the top level in Eventing. Both have worked with young horses for many years. This backgound has given them a wealth of experience in managing horses, from working with young horses to travelling horses all around the world and high performance equine nutrition.
